Using regularly updated 3D CAD software in the design office, the team has the capability to create complete virtual prototypes of every component manufactured. Design time is not only drastically reduced, but changes and development procedures can be achieved efficiently and easily. The 3D models allow us to check for clash detection, create CNC paths from CAM software, create rapid prototype items, help customers to visualise engine installation procedures and offer marketing images to potential team sponsors of financial backers. 3D models will also be used for dynamic, structural and fatigue analysis therefore saving time in development and test schedules with each project. These tools are fully integrated with the 3D modeling CAD system ensuring maximum workflow from within the design office.
