Development and analysis areas of the company have recently expanded into not only working on Swindon Racing Engines projects but also as a bureau service to teams and manufacturers. This bureau service is regularly used to gain power during the mid-season when development budgets have become available. The Superflow Flowbench is one area constantly used for development. Our engineers would stress that the equipment is to be used as a guideline, and that the 30 years of experience within the company compliment the flowbench producing some excellent results. We have two in-house dynamometers for engine projects. These units are Froude G490’s, each with 1000bhp capability at 14,000rpm. Both machines are fully electronically controlled with Superflow software and hardware; this allows the test team to gain maximum performance at stable conditions.
